Quick answers to common parent questions about our online Quran classes for kids.

How do online Quran classes for kids work?

Your child meets the same qualified teacher at a set time every week, one-to-one, live on video. The teacher has one Google Meet link and every class runs on it, so you save it once. Never a group, never a recording.

Who supervises the online Quran classes?

A supervisor is on every class, and all our supervisors are women. She joins the link about 2 minutes before the teacher and your child, and gets both online. Then she listens in, moving between the classes she is covering. She is watching the quality of the class, not your child's recitation. If the sound or screen fails, or the teacher is not attentive, she steps in. Correcting the recitation is the teacher's job.

What if my child does not get on with the Quran teacher?

Tell us and we will arrange a different teacher. After the trial classes we open a WhatsApp group for you, with your child's supervisor, the coordinator and the academy manager in it. Anything you raise there we try to settle before the next class.

Do you have male and female Quran teachers?

Yes. Live Quran Lessons has both male and female Quran teachers, and every one of them holds a qualification from a recognized Islamic institution.

Which online Quran courses are available for kids?

Qaida, Quran with Tajweed, advanced Tajweed, memorization, translation, Tafseer, Arabic and Islamic Studies for kids.

Do you offer free trial Quran classes?

Yes. Children can take up to 3 free trial classes before enrolling. No card is needed.

What age can my child start online Quran classes?

Starting age is 4½. Some bright children start at 4. There is no upper age.

How long is each Quran class?

30 minutes for a recitation class. Hifz classes are 45 minutes or a full hour.

What language are the classes taught in?

English. If Urdu is easier for your child, tell us and we will teach in Urdu.

What do you do with my WhatsApp number?

Arranging your trial class is the only thing we use it for, and we never pass it on to anybody. Once classes start it is the number in your family WhatsApp group.

Is my child safe in an online Quran class?

You are welcome to watch any lesson yourself, without asking first, and a supervisor is listening in on every class. No teacher is given a student until we have checked their certificates and references. We then train them in how we teach, and sit in on a live demo class before they start.

What am I committing to, and what if we want to stop?

There is no contract and no minimum term. Fees are monthly, and you pay for the month ahead. If you want to stop, tell us and we will stop. If you need a break instead, any unused balance carries to the next month. Before your regular classes begin, you can withdraw and get a full refund.

How much do online Quran classes for kids cost?

Live Quran Lessons charges monthly, per child, by the days a week your child attends. 2 days a week is $39, 3 days $49, 4 days $59, and 5 days $65. Each lesson is 30 minutes, 1-to-1.
